Our Leadership Team

Dr Joanna Griffin

Joanna is a health and business professional with a strong focus on clinical innovation. Joanna has a PhD in Biochemistry from UCD and was awarded the Pfizer Newman Scholarship to study drug transport in animal models. She was a successful science and technology journalist across a wide variety of media outlets and a lecturer in Biochemistry before taking up the role as Director of Research and Clinical Innovation at the Rotunda hospital.  Joanna has a proven track record in the areas of Intellectual property management, patent filing, clinical evaluation of medical devices and technologies and licensing technology. Joanna is an accomplished networker and has significant experience in stakeholder engagement across the Health sector. An expert in the area of technology transfer, Joanna brings her vast research and innovation experience to Xenon Health Solutions.

Dr Liz Tully

Liz is a skilled healthcare leader with a strong background in clinical research design, implementation, and evaluation. With a PhD in Applied Biochemistry from DCU and an MSc in Healthcare Leadership from RCSI, Liz began her career as a researcher in the field of immunodiagnostics working in the UK and the US before moving into the area of research management and programme development. Liz brings real-world understanding of how healthcare is currently organised and delivered. Throughout her career, she has identified the strengths and weaknesses within the current system and has utilised this to help develop unique structures and processes to navigate these challenges within clinical programmes, health projects and industry collaborations.
